Ow! What happened?
After I had just gone through the drive through window at Wendy's and while stopped and waiting to turn left out of the parking lot, a woman put her van in reverse and backed straight into the hood of my car. Wendy's had gotten her order wrong and she was going to try to go back to complain.
It's difficult to get too bent out of shape over small accidents like this (la la la) but I've had the car so little lately that it feels like I'll never get to drive it. Between my month-long trip out of town and the month of service the car has seen lately it's almost like I own a rental car. :)

I exchanged insurance information with the other driver. It turned out that we were both insured by Geico, which simplified matters somewhat. I called Geico on my cell phone and we relayed the details of the accident. Since no airbags had gone off, there was no dispute over facts, and there were no injuries, Geico didn't require a police report.
Geico scheduled an appointment for me to get an estimate at 9:30 on Wednesday morning. Once I got back to the office, we took some pictures of the damage with greg's camera.

Took the car in to Geico's place, Heritage Body and Frame, for Geico to do an estimate on the damage. Looks like it will need a new hood, total came to $2039. I told them that I wanted to take the car to Jeff's and we made arrangements for me to take it in on Monday.

Dropped the car off at Jeff's and took hold of a rental Grand Prix. Anxious to have this behind me.
