The headless NT box on my credenza at work has been given a monitor. Active desktop is pretty cool. Note the live-update DTP webcams and mrtg graphs. Love that "wake paul up" button on the hfdirect.com sighnout sheet!

23-Mar-1999 I don't think I actually used the background for more than a week or so, but I do love it. Still haven't figured out windows in BitchX.

27-Apr-2001 After a nice "when I was your age we had to bang rocks together to get 1's" DSW in #distributed I decided to see if I could get XTreePro Gold running in Win2K. Here's the results.

24-Jul-2001 I doubt I'll go to this effort again, but I wanted to convey the full effect of running x2vnc at the office. What you're seeing is actually the desktops of three seperate computers all pulled together with x2vnc. My left monitor is a Win2K desktop, the center monitor is a FreeBSD workstation, and the right monitor is my laptop also running Win2K. This is really, really leet.
