We made it back to the coast. . .

. . .and parked the car. . .

. . .at a nice apartment hotel in Kaikoura.

We immediately trashed the room. . .

. . .and caught up on our laundry.

Up the next morning at the crack of sunrise.

We are very efficient packers for two weeks of travel. It all had to fit in here.

We got to drive on the wooden bridge that Greg told us about! Looks like the replacement (to the left) is very nearly finished, though. Those are train tracks on top of us.
